Overview

Your profile contains important personal information that you can view and update anytime. Keep your information current to ensure smooth transactions and account security.

What's in your profile:

  • Full name
  • Username
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Address

Personal Information

Full Name

Your first and last name as registered with PiTrade.

Username

Your unique username on PiTrade (displayed as @username).

What you should know:

  • Your username is unique and cannot be changed
  • It's used to identify you on the platform
  • Other users can find you using your username
  • It's displayed on your public profile

Email Address

Your primary email for account communications and login.

What you can do:

  • View your registered email
  • Receive account notifications and updates
  • Use for password recovery
  • Verify your email for added security

Email verification:

  • Your email must be verified for full account access
  • Check your inbox for a verification email
  • Click the verification link to confirm your email
  • If you don't see it, check your spam folder

Phone Number

Your contact phone number for account security and notifications.

What you can do:

  • Add or update your phone number
  • Receive SMS notifications about your account
  • Verify your phone for added security

Phone verification:

  • Your phone number must be verified
  • You'll receive an SMS with a verification code
  • Enter the code to confirm your phone number

How to add or update:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Profile Settings
  2. Tap "Phone Number"
  3. Enter your phone number with country code
  4. Verify the code sent via SMS
  5. Tap "Save"

Date of Birth

Your date of birth for account verification and regulatory compliance.

What you should know:

  • Required for account verification
  • Used to confirm your identity
  • Helps us comply with financial regulations
  • Must be accurate

Address

Your residential or mailing address.

What you can do:

  • Add or update your address
  • Used for account verification
  • Required for regulatory compliance
  • Helps us serve you better

Address information needed:

  • Street address
  • City
  • State/Province
  • Postal code
  • Country

How to add or update:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Profile Settings
  2. Tap "Address"
  3. Enter your complete address
  4. Tap "Save"

Verification Status

Why Verification Matters

Verification confirms that you own the contact information in your profile. It's important for:

How to Verify Your Information

Email Verification:

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification message with a 6-digit code
  2. Enter the code in the app
  3. Your email will be marked as verified

Phone Verification:

  1. You'll receive an SMS with a 6-digit code
  2. Enter the code in the app
  3. Your phone will be marked as verified

If You Don't Receive a Code:

  • Check your spam folder
  • Make sure your phone number is correct
  • Request a new code
  • Contact support if issues persist
