Overview

Depositing funds to PiTrade is simple:

  1. Link a bank account – Connect your bank to PiTrade
  2. Choose an amount – Decide how much to deposit
  3. Select your bank – Pick which linked account to use
  4. Confirm – Review and confirm the deposit
  5. Done – Funds appear in your account

Your money is transferred securely from your bank to your PiTrade wallet.


Before You Deposit

Requirements

  • A linked bank account
  • Sufficient funds in your bank account
  • Active internet connection
  • Verified PiTrade account

Minimum Deposit

  • Minimum: $10
  • No maximum limit – Deposit as much as you want

Supported Banks

PiTrade works with most US banks. If your bank isn't listed, you can still link it manually.

Fees

  • No deposit fees – PiTrade doesn't charge to deposit
  • No hidden charges – What you see is what you get
  • Your bank may charge – Check with your bank about their policies

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open Your Wallet

  1. Open the PiTrade app
  2. Go to the Wallet tab
  3. You'll see your current balance and available funds

Step 2: Start a Deposit

  1. Tap the "Deposit" button
  2. Or tap the "+" icon to add funds
  3. Select "Deposit from Bank"

Step 3: Choose Your Bank

  1. You'll see a list of your linked bank accounts
  2. Select the bank account you want to deposit from
  3. Tap "Continue"

Step 4: Enter the Amount

  1. Enter the amount you want to deposit
  2. The amount must be at least $10
  3. Make sure you have enough funds in your bank account
  4. Tap "Continue"

Step 5: Review Your Deposit

  1. Check the deposit details:
    • Amount
    • Bank account
    • Processing time
  2. Make sure everything is correct
  3. Tap "Confirm Deposit"

Step 6: Confirm at Your Bank

  1. You may be redirected to your bank's website
  2. Log in with your bank credentials
  3. Authorize the transfer
  4. Return to PiTrade

Step 7: Done!

  1. Your deposit is confirmed
  2. You'll see a confirmation message
  3. Funds will appear in your account (see processing times below)
  4. Start trading!

Minimum Deposit

  • $10 – Minimum amount per deposit

Maximum Deposit

  • No limit – Deposit as much as you want
  • Check with your bank for their transfer limits

Daily Limits

  • Depends on your bank – Most banks allow multiple deposits per day
  • Check your bank's daily transfer limits

Account Limits

  • No limit – Keep as much as you want in your PiTrade account
  • Your funds are SIPC protected up to $500,000

Processing Times

How Long Does a Deposit Take?

Standard Deposit (ACH Transfer)

  • 1-3 business days – Most common
  • Funds appear in your account after processing
  • Weekends and holidays may add time

Instant Deposit

  • Immediate – Funds available right away
  • May have additional verification
  • Subject to availability

Why Does It Take Time?

  • Bank processing – Your bank needs to verify and process
  • ACH network – The banking system takes 1-3 days
  • Verification – Security checks to prevent fraud
  • Weekends/holidays – Banks don't process on these days

Checking Your Deposit Status

  1. Go to Wallet
  2. Tap "Transaction History"
  3. Find your deposit
  4. See the current status:
    • Pending
    • Processing
    • Completed

  • Encrypted – All data is encrypted with bank-level security
  • Verified – Your bank verifies the transfer
